4 Rules to Increase your Productivity

The start of the week is tedious for many, but synonymous with new opportunities for those who are more optimistic.

No matter what day of the week it is, the reality is that many of us have become the kings of “I’ll do it tomorrow.” That’s why we put these tips into practice for two weeks, and we can assure you that they have been a great help.

Sleep well and eat well: if you are one of those who stay up working until the early hours of the morning and get up very early the next day, you are generating less productivity. For the past two weeks, we’ve been testing a feature built into the latest iPhone update. It’s called Bedtime, and it helps you measure how many hours you should rest to wake up with energy, according to the time you need to wake up. An hour before your bedtime, it alerts you to get ready, and it wakes you up with pleasant sounds. Good option, right?

Work with a stopwatch: Many times we start a task and do a thousand things at once, or in many cases we get distracted with social networks or YouTube. A good way to optimize your time is to use a timer in which you set a specific time for each task to finish it.

Schedule an hour to answer emails. You can do it in three sessions during the day, or more if required. The important thing is that you are not checking every three seconds. Try putting into practice the review of your emails after you finish a task or some pending issue.

Take a break! Having fun can be on your agenda for the day. Read a newspaper, check out some videos, check your networks. Giving yourself these “breaks” lightens the workload and reduces your stress levels.
